The purpose of the exams is to assist state boards in determining qualifications of dentists who seek licensure to practice dentistry. The examinations assess the ability to understand important information from basic biomedical and dental sciences and also the ability to apply such information in a problem-solving context.
Cost to apply
Part I: $250 (Partial Re-examination $130 plus $30 per each section) (Credit card payments only). Examination fees are non-refundable and non-transferable (no exceptions).
Part II: $325 (Credit card payments only.) Examination fees are non-refundable and non-transferable (no exceptions).
Schedule a Time to Take the Exam
You must apply for your exam with the ADA and receive your eligibility letter prior to scheduling your testing appointment with Prometric. Exams are administered year-round at Prometric Test Centers in the United States, it's territories, and Canada.
