The National Board Dental Exam I (NBDE) Part I is a comprehensive, computer-based examination that is administered in one day. The comprehensive Part 1 is comprised of 400 test items, approximately 20% of the items are grouped in testlets with interdisciplinary focus and clinical application. The National Board Dental Exam II (NBDE) Part II is a comprehensive, computer-based examination that is administered in two days. The comprehensive Part II consists of 500 test items. The discipline-based component (Component A) includes 400 items and the case-based component (Component B) includes 100 items based on 8-10 case problems.

Hygiene Decks

The 2012-2013 Edition of Dental Hygiene Decks consists of about 1,450 comprehensive flashcards. More >

The National Board Dental Hygiene Exam (NBDHE) is a comprehensive examination that is administered in one day. It consists of approximately 350 multiple-choice examination items. The discipline-based component (Component A) includes 200 items and the case-based component (Component B) includes 150 items based on 12 to 15 dental hygiene patient cases.
